Cueva de Can Marça
Port de Sant Miguel
Discover the subterranean world of the island of Ibiza.
The Cave of Can Marça finds itself at the North of Ibiza, near Sant Miguel Port, 20km from Ibiza, 25km from San Antonio and 23km from Santa Eulalia.
The cave is located in a natural environment of special interest, with spectacular views over the bay with the islands of Murada and Ferradura in the front.
Tha Cave of Can Marça is one of the main tourist attraction on the island, if not without any doubt, the most important one. Mother Nature created inside the Cave an impressive limestone work, underground lakes and fabulous sceneries.
Visitors will enjoy a 40 min. walk through a natural environment with special effects of water, sounds and lights.
The cave has been originally discovered by smugglers, who first used it to hide their goods inside. Today, it is still possible to see the red and black marks which were showing the way in and out of the cave.
The Cave of Can Marça is opened to the public since the beginning of the 80s, the highlight of the visit being the light show which comes with the waterfall. This waterfall is a replica of the one which was once natural.
